French Alpine and American Saanen dairy goats with free access to chemical-free pastures. Goats also browse a nearby woods and are fed alfalfa hay and Chaffhaye, and get whole oats and barley while on the milk stand. No hormones. No antibiotics. Goats are only treated if needed. Goats are currently on monthly milk tests through the American Dairy Goat Assoc. They are machine-milked twice a day. Milk is cooled quickly in an ice water bath and refrigerated in half gallon glass jars. They offer fresh raw goat milk half and whole shares or as pet food only. Kefir, yogurt, fudge, ice cream, cheese, and more also available. Hours: 10 am to 5 pm Mon-Sat. Call for an appointment for pick up. Teri and Randy Dugan, located in Manchester, TN, started Terra Dell Dairy Goats in December 2011 after previously owning Alpine dairy goats in the 1990s. They began with Saanens and later added French Alpines, focusing on acquiring good stock from top breeders. They also have a history with Doberman Pinschers and Quarter Horses, achieving many accolades in those fields.
