Produce Farm
The pumpkin patch is closed for the season but we invite you and your family to continue to come 4pm-6pm for family photos now through November 16th.
We are a family-owned blackberry farm in Mc Kinney, Texas. It began with a desire to move our big family to the country in search of a simpler way of life. We found a piece of property that needed LOTS of love, and we all went to work together. Over a period of several years, we worked hard to clean up the property and improve the soil in the hopes of restoring the over-grazed, weed-infested pasture to several acres of fertile and productive land for the growing of nutrient-dense food. We still actively work most months of the year to maintain the fields. We decided to grow more of one of our all-time favorites - thornless blackberries. Our hope is that you will love them as much as we do! As we continue to learn more about regenerative farming, our goals are to build the soil, create an environmentally-friendly landscape with a with a focus on conservation practices such as water conservation, using organic methods for disease and pest control, reducing erosion through cover cropping, composting, mulching and no-till gardening. The farm is a certified Texan By Nature Projectfor implementing these practices. “The people and the land are what make Texas great. When they are working in harmony, everyone benefits.” Former First Lady of the United States We really wanted to share all of this with our community in a way that would bring people together in a fun outdoor environment so we decided to create a you-pick farm experience. We hope you will join us to make some memories with your loved ones! 1794 Sunset Trail Mc Kinney, TX 75071(214) 450-6255
